Made at the kitchen table

Peppertree began with one pot, a wooden mould and a stubborn belief that everyday things should be beautiful. The first batch was for family. The second was for neighbors. By the third, we needed a bigger table.

We still make every bar the same way: measure the oils, mix by hand, pour, cut and wait. Curing takes four to six weeks — the part you can't rush and the part that makes the difference.

We keep our ingredient lists clear and use essential oils, high-quality fragrance oils, or both depending on the scent. Each bar comes in a recycled paper wrap, and orders ship plastic-free.
